The Tucson 2025 Solar Co-op has selected Solar Gain, Inc to install solar panels for the 20 (and growing) member group. Co-op members selected Solar Gain through a competitive bidding process over five other firms. The installer was chosen because of their equipment quality and localness, among other factors. The group will hold its final public information session Tuesday, December 9 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.
The co-op is open to new members until January 5, 2026. Residents of the Tucson metropolitan area, including Marana, interested in joining the co-op can sign up at https://solarunitedneighbors.org/tucson. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.
Solar Gain will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
