Quad Cities Solar Co-op selects Icon Power to serve group
The Quad Cities Solar Co-op has selected Icon Power to install solar panels for the 80-member group. The 15 co-op members who participated in the installer selection committee chose Icon Power over eight other firms, in part because of their competitive pricing, equipment quality, and experience, among other factors.
The co-op is open to new members until May 31. Those interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.
Icon Power will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
