Alex McDonough
Currently a partner and strategic advisor at Pioneer Public Affairs, Alex has worked as an advisor, executive and consultant on clean energy, and environmental issues for more than 15 years. Previously, Alex was a Vice President for Sunrun where he led teams on regulatory challenges and legislative opportunities to expand access to solar, and he served as senior policy advisor for energy and environment for Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid. Alex is a member of the board of Clean Energy for America, which advocates for policies and leaders who champion the clean energy workforce. Alex holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University. He’s a native of Las Vegas, NV and lives in Washington, DC
