Speak up on solar interconnection issues in Colorado
Solar United Neighbors (SUN) is aware that many homeowners across Colorado have experienced delays or have been charged additional fees in order to get their solar systems connected to the electric grid by their utility (the process known as “interconnection”). SUN Colorado is working with stakeholders to ensure that utilities don’t prevent or impede homeowners from going solar due to interconnection delays or added costs.
If you’ve been hit with delays or extra costs for interconnection, we want to hear about it.
That way, we can share your story with state regulators and legislators and push them to act. The more stories we collect, the more we can motivate state leaders to stop utilities from stalling solar.
