2026 APS Public Comments
Urge the ACC to reject APS Rate Increases
Add your voice today to help protect affordability, fairness, and Arizona’s clean energy future.
Arizona Public Service (APS) is asking state regulators to approve another major rate increase, including new and expanded fees for solar customers.
The proposal comes on top of multiple recent rate hikes, all while APS’s parent company is reporting hundreds of millions of dollars in profits.

For many Arizona families energy bills are becoming unbearable at a time when electricity is essential for health and safety.
The Arizona Corporation Commission is currently considering APS’s request and public comments matter. Regulators need to hear directly from you, the customer, about how rising costs are affecting real people.
We’ve created a sample comment as a guide. You can use this comment as a reference but please DON’T copy and paste this comment to submit as your own. Take what makes sense and, most importantly, add the personal impact this has on you and make a clear ask for what you’d like the ACC to do. Consider adding in the following:
- Are you on a fixed or limited income?
- Do extreme heat and health concerns personally impact you?
- Do you have rooftop solar that will be devalued with additional charges?
- Do you have family or caregiving responsibilities that are impacted by rising costs?
- Do you work from home or run a small business that relies on affordable rates?
- Do continuous rising costs raise trust, fairness, or transparency concerns?
