Florida classroom solar activities

Request hands on in-person or virtual activities for your classroom!

Solar activities for students facilitated by Solar United Neighbors staff where students learn about solar energy, put together their own solar system and try to power various appliances such as a lightbulb, fan and speaker. This lesson is modified to be grade appropriate or other lessons are used as appropriate.

  • *Max 30 students per class. Please make a note if you would like to do multiple programs/classes in one day.
  • Please include multiple times if scheduling various classes on the same day for the same school or youth group.
