Northeast Minnesota 2025 Solar Co-op selects Sisu Solar to serve group
The Northeast Minnesota 2025 Solar Co-op has selected Sisu Solar to install solar panels for the 23-member (and growing) group. Co-op members selected Sisu Solar through a competitive bidding process over four other firms. The group will hold its final Solar 101 on Tuesday, June 17 to educate the community about solar and the co-op process. The installer will also be joining for a Q&A session. Co-op members selected Sisu Solar because of their competitive pricing and localness, among other factors.
The co-op is open to new members until June 30, 2025. Duluth and Arrowhead Area – Carlton, St. Louis, Lake, Cook, and Itasca County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up on the co-op web page. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.
Sisu Solar will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save off the cost of going solar, as well as have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
