Lakes and Prairies Solar Co-op selects Holsen Solar to serve group
The Lakes and Prairies Solar Co-op has selected Holsen Solar to install solar panels for the 80-member group. Co-op members selected Holsen Solar through a competitive bidding process over seven other firms. The group will hold its final virtual public information session on Tuesday, March 25 to educate the community about solar and the co-op process. Click here to register for the Solar 101 webinar.
Co-op members selected Holsen Solar because of their competitive pricing and equipment quality, among other factors.
The co-op is open to new members until March 31, 2025. Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse, and Wilkin county residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up on the co-op web page. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.
Holsen Solar will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save off the cost of going solar, as well as have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
