Battery Interest Form

Power Up Ellis!

Calling renters, people who live in multi-family housing, and homeowners! With the help of a grant, we are offering qualifying households a free battery appliance unit  that can be plugged into something like a refrigerator, a window AC unit, or any other 120 volt appliance you care about during an outage. This battery doesn’t require any special installation help and is portable (~ 50 lbs), which is useful in case of emergency, an outage, or if you move (Yes, you can take it with you!). Participants will own the equipment and will also be helping the grid in times of stress! We are currently piloting this program to 20 households in Ellis County, TX, with plans to deploy 200+ units in total over the course of the program, so if you are not part of the first 20, you will be placed on the waitlist for the next round!
