Lisa Anne Hamilton
Lisa Anne Hamilton is an Attorney and Regulatory Consultant working at the intersection of Climate and Energy Law and Policy to further a Just Transition. Ms. Hamilton’s work focuses on leveraging the rule of law to champion ambitious climate mitigation and adaptation policies and promote prudential oversight of climate related financial risk. She currently advises a network of over 80 environmental justice organizations nationwide to promote legal, investor and community partnerships to foster renewable energy investments in traditionally underserved communities. She has led teams of attorneys for the Adaptation Program for the Georgetown Climate Center (GCC), and the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) and provided input to stakeholder convenings and technical assistance as a regulatory consultant for the Pace Energy & Climate Center and the Institute for Energy Economics Financial Analysis (IEEFA) among other organizations.
She is a Board Member for the Living Classrooms Foundation, and the Solar and Storage Industries Institute (SI2) and currently serves as the co-chair the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources (EENR) Community for the DC Bar. Ms. Hamilton is a graduate of Howard University School of Law and Cornell University.
