Julia Herbst
Julia helps people in the Gulf Coast of Florida install solar and build an energy system that supports Sunshine State communities. Her passion for solar began during AmeriCorps service with water and land restoration projects in Pennsylvania’s coal mining regions.
After earning a Master of Landscape Architecture Degree from RISD, she learned from Frostburg University’s Wind & Solar Energy (WISE) Program, Pinellas Water Stewards, Florida Master Naturalist courses and Forest Therapy Guide certification. She champions the power of education and brave creativity in making environmental change. When not working with solar energy, she loves to garden, camp, travel, wander the woods and explore this planet we call home.
