Jamie Comerford-Barnett
Jamie has spent the past decade passionately advocating for environmental justice, working with community organizations and grassroots movements to promote sustainable policies and equitable access to clean air, water, and natural resources. Their commitment to environmental equity is rooted in a deep belief that all communities deserve a healthy and safe environment.
Currently, Jamie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Indiana University Bloomington, where they are currently a McKinney Climate Fellow. The McKinney Climate Fellowship (MCF) collaborates with environmental organizations across Indiana to connect students and initiatives. Jamie will be working with SUN, in partnership with MCF, for the summer of 2025
