Emily Hemmingson
Emily supports communications in SUN’s Atlantic Southeast region, which includes Florida, Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Puerto Rico. Prior to joining SUN, she worked in education, first as a teacher, and then as a wellness coach advocating for educator well-being and burnout prevention. She uses her skills as an educator in her communications work at SUN, helping to raise awareness on the importance of clean energy and to advocate for a more equitable future that allows us all to be our healthiest selves.
Emily holds a B.A. in psychology and a B.A. in Spanish from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. In her downtime, she is a singer, actress, and enthusiastic pickleball player.
