About Us

About solar in D.C.

D.C. is our hometown and where Solar United Neighbors got started. Since 2007, we have been fighting to ensure solar is accessible and affordable to all D.C. residents. All across the District, more families are going solar as a way to save money and take control of their energy production.

Whether you’re interested in solar for your home, business, or community, Solar United Neighbors is here to help you find the easiest, most cost-effective way to go solar. We’re also working hard to make solar more accessible through community solar and other smart solar policies.
