Not everyone can install solar panels on their home or business. That’s where community solar comes in.
Community solar offers the benefits of solar to those who can’t, or prefer not to, install solar panels on their property. Through community solar, individuals and families subscribe to a “share” of solar generation from a nearby community solar array. Take a deep dive into how community solar works.
Community solar is not yet available everywhere. We want to change that — and we need your help!
In most states, the legislature must pass legislation to allow community solar. Twenty-two states have policies making community solar an option for consumers.
