Join a solar co-op or group
Our co-ops and groups organize 50 to 100 neighbors in a group to go solar together. Our experts support you through each stage of the solar process.

What is a solar group?
Solar United Neighbors (SUN) brings people together to save money on their solar installations, connect with like-minded individuals, and get guidance from vendor-neutral experts throughout the entire process.
In a solar group, you get:
- Discounted pricing: Leverage bulk purchasing power for discounted pricing and make a profit on your investment over time.
- A community of solar enthusiasts: Connect with neighbors to go solar together.
- Personalized plans: Sign an individual contract that ensures the right system for you and your home.
You can go solar with the help of SUN’s experts by joining three different types of solar groups.
Three ways you can go solar in a group
SUN Solar Co-ops
Solar Co-ops are organized by SUN but are member-driven groups of about 100 neighbors. Members receive competitive pricing and support from SUN staff but each member signs their own individual contract.
Switch Together
In partnership with iChoosr, Switch Together runs like a co-op but organizes hundreds of neighbors to go solar together. Expert support is provided through each stage of the solar process, as well.
Ready, Set, Solar!
Ready, Set, Solar! provides you the tools and resources to go solar — with a little guidance from SUN staff and a virtual community of folks also going solar.
