Hannah Mitchell
Hannah is a passionate advocate for creating a more sustainable future. Hannah grew up in rural Illinois, next door to the Shawnee National Forest, which sparked her interest in nature and the environment. She is looking forward to continuing to explore natural wonders in her new home in Colorado.
Hannah’s career has been centered around education and organizing in the nonprofit space with a focus on gender equity. She received her B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Evansville and her M.A. in Political Science from University of Illinois – Springfield. She is excited to join the SUN team to help promote a more equitable energy system for all.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys reading, traveling, learning Spanish, and checking out local coffee shops. She especially loves excursions to national parks with her partner, Chris, or on mother-daughter road trips.
