Brandon Praileau
A native of Norfolk, VA, Brandon has spent the past 11 years in community engagement and outreach in North Carolina and Virginia. With heavy ties to the Religious & Faith-Based Community, he has served a variety of organizations in the Tidewater Area, including a Member of the Board of Directors and Faith-Based Coordinator for the St. Paul’s Community Development Corporation, member of the Community Food Disparities Coalition and Movement 757. Brandon is also a member of the Next Generation of Ecumenist Board with the Virginia Council of Churches.
Having taken his church solar in partnership with Norfolk Solar in 2020, Brandon has become a community advocate for solar deployment and energy rights in low-income and underserved communities. He attended Old Dominion University and Southern New Hampshire University, studying Political Science and Public Policy and Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University studying Divinity.
In his spare time, Brandon is an avid bowler, competing in several leagues and as a member of a travel team. He enjoys reading and spending time with family.
