Henry McKay
Henry leads SUN’s Heartland Region, a tightly-connected portfolio of state programs building a cleaner and fairer energy system in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and West Virginia. In this role, he cultivates a distributed team of solar champions whose work is deeply rooted in the communities they serve.
Previously at SUN, Henry was the founding Pennsylvania Program Director. His past work includes positions at the Institute for Sustainable Communities and the Urban Sustainability Directors’ Network, where he supported local leaders to build more sustainable, just, and resilient communities across the country. Henry is a NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate™️ and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Oberlin College. Henry lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Sarah, and two young sons.
