Erin Hellkamp
Erin’s professional experience spans government affairs, lobbying and public relations. In this role she serves as a policy liaison to the solar industry and develops partnerships to grow SUN’s nationwide network of solar advocates. Erin is responsible for implementing advocacy campaigns, engaging stakeholders, and developing impactful messaging.
Erin believes in energy democracy. Her work is inspired by the words of Margaret Mead. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Erin holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science and an Undergraduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. When not working, you can find Erin at the nearest beach, relaxing in tree pose, pretending to be a sommelier, or spoiling her dachshund.
