Adam Richard

Adam serves as the Indiana Rural Associate for Solar United Neighbors, based in Elkhart, Indiana. A proud solar homeowner with rooftop panels and a battery system, he translates personal experience into community impact—drawing on over a decade of nonprofit leadership, from directing ministry programs at local churches to steering workforce development initiatives at Goodwill Industries. Whether he’s forging partnerships with local organizations or deploying creative outreach strategies, Adam’s versatile toolkit and hands-on approach helps rural Hoosiers access affordable solar and navigate the clean energy transition.
At home in Elkhart, Adam lives with his wife and kids and serves as President of his neighborhood HOA. Outside of work, Adam enjoys visits to Potawatomi Zoo, hikes local county-park trails, and unwinds with console gaming or episodes of Letterkenny, Doctor Who, and whatever the latest superhero project is. Adam infuses everyday life—both work and personal—with honesty, humor, and heart, fostering the community spirit needed to power Indiana’s clean-energy future.
