Abby Burnett
As the Indiana Rural Associate, Abby is dedicated to bringing solar education to rural Indiana communities. As a lifelong Hoosier raised on a farm, she has a unique understanding of rural issues and the needs of rural communities. In her role, she is working to ensure that rural Indiana does not get left behind in the clean energy transition and the legacy of rural resiliency will continue to live on.
Abby recently graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Affairs, majoring in Environmental Management and minoring in Business. At IU, she developed an interest in soil health and wildlife management, and she is excited to bring this knowledge to the solar space. Outside of work, she enjoys taking her corgi, Bunny, on walks, going to the movies with her boyfriend, journaling, and going on backpacking trips.
