Michelle Kolacz

Michelle is a Community Impact Fellow at SUN. She plays a key role in advancing national education initiatives, driving volunteer mobilization in unstaffed states, and cultivating strategic partnerships with community groups and organizations to promote energy independence and supportive policies. Before joining SUN, she focused on program development and research aimed at creating sustainable change in a number of sectors.
She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability Management at Georgetown University. She also holds a MFIS and a BA from Kent State University.
When she is not working or studying, Michelle is volunteering with a number of organizations and exploring the natural world.
