Policy & Advocacy Campaigner

Emma supports Solar United Neighbors’ policy and advocacy work in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, New Mexico and Texas as the Policy & Advocacy Campaigner for the West Region. Before joining the team at Solar United Neighbors, she led campaigns to secure 100% renewable energy commitments and pro-solar policies at the federal, state and local levels with Environment America. Emma is passionate about grassroots organizing and building a democratic energy system that supports people and the planet.

Emma is originally from North Carolina and earned a B.A. in Environmental Earth Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. When she isn’t working, she’s usually spending time outside, tending to her house plants, or reading a good book.
