Georgetown-Burleith Co-op Issues Request for Proposal

By Ben Delman on April 21, 2017

The 16-member Georgetown-Burleith Solar Co-op, has issued a request for proposal (RFP) from area solar installers. Group members seek an installer to service the co-op that is expected to grow as word spreads and more interested homeowners join. The group is particularly interested in an installer with local historic permitting experience in the Georgetown area.

Local installers interested in serving the group can download the RFP and response template below. Submissions are due by May 5 at 5 p.m. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels.

Co-op members will select a single company to complete all of the installations. They will then have the option to purchase panels individually based on the installer’s group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save up to 20% off the cost of their system.
